Stanley Holland

I like to spend my spare time doing outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, shooting, camping, etc.

My interests are:

Scuba Diving: I am nitrox certified and I have over 100 dives (about 80 are logged). I try to dive in as many places as I can as I travel around the world.

Learning to fly planes: I have been through ground school and I have 3 hours of flying time and will finish my training when I am not deployed somewhere and get time to fly.

Traveling: I like taking long road trips whenever possible and visiting other countries. Some of the places that I have been to are: Spain, Italy, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Turkey, Tunisia, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, China, Australia, New Zealand, Tonga, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, England, Ireland, Germany, Taiwan, the former Republic of Georgia, Jordan, Guam, Saipan, Iwo Jima, France, Netherlands, Norway, Iceland, Argentina, Antarctica, Brazil, and 43 of the 50 United States.

I arrived in Baghdad, Iraq for the third time in June 2005 for an extended period of time and I am still here working at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad.
